Videoly is a SaaS B2B platform for distributing video content made for both brands and retailers. My journey began during a quieter design phase, but as Videoly grew, so did my role. Over 5+ years, I actively contributed to rebranding initiatives, including the latest, internally called "brand uplift," showcased on this page. I guided a team of brand designers through this creative journey, actively contributing hands-on as well.

As the company and its products evolved to meet customer needs, the brand underwent a transformation. The primary objective of the new brand identity was to establish a consistent design language. Introducing a framework of core components allowed for freedom and expressiveness within its elements. This led to Videoly adopting a new brand identity and design system, subsequently scaled to its main products.

We’ve started with defining our core design principles to guide our decision-making process. Subsequently, we conducted reference research and tested concept designs across different media to ensure we were on the right track. After validating our direction, we developed core elements, implemented them, and launched the "uplifted brand." The ongoing support involved creating design systems, libraries, and guidelines.

We established brand guidelines primarily for internal use, presented through a dedicated website. The objective was to consolidate and unify information about Videoly's brand, copywriting, and brand design. The brand design section specifically includes a comprehensive guide for presentations.
